On the morning of 15 October 2026 in Hanoi, the FPT Polytechnic International Cooperation Center, Saitama Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha and Chaman Group Joint Stock Company held a signing ceremony for cooperation on training automotive maintenance and repair personnel for the Japanese market.
The cooperation aims to connect classroom education with the practical requirements of Japanese employers and broaden career opportunities for automotive technology students.

Connecting technical training with workplace requirements
According to information shared by the FPT Polytechnic International Cooperation Center, the partners aim to develop a program combining technical knowledge, practical training and Japanese language learning. Workplace discipline, safety awareness and an understanding of Japanese corporate culture are also priorities.
Preparation in both technical skills and language can help students understand maintenance and repair work, follow workplace requirements and adapt to a professional environment in Japan.
Three priorities for career preparation
- Japanese language: developing communication skills and the ability to understand instructions in education and employment.
- Automotive expertise: combining technical knowledge with practical training, with attention to work procedures and occupational safety.
- Employer engagement: aligning training priorities with workforce needs and employment opportunities in Japan.
These priorities set the direction for further program development. Applicants should consult official announcements from the responsible organization for enrollment, eligibility, qualification and recruitment details.
